Contracts define the terms of how two parties will work together: for example the employer (Isometric) and the contractor (yourself). Navigating contracts can be confusing so we’ve outlined below the purpose of our contracts.

All of our contracts are sent and signed electronically through Dropbox Sign, which makes reviewing and signing them simple. We will also ask contractors to sign an Intellectual Property (IP) assignment which details how ownership of IP will be divided between Isometric and the contractor.
As a member of the Science Network we’ll never ask you to sign an exclusivity agreement or commit to minimum time requirements.
<aside> 🔗 No exclusivity requirements Isometric recognises that advancing CDR will require many more projects than we have the resources to facilitate. We don’t have any non-compete contracts or restrictions on scientists’ other activities, so members are free to work on the projects want to.

Isometric is currently working on improving our contracting process so that it’s standardised internationally; we’ll update this space with more information once those changes have been implemented.
