The goal of the Whiteboard Task is to understand how you problem solve, make decisions and collaborate with others. We will be assessing how you communicate, both verbally and visually. Our aim is to make this session collaborative, with you as a lead.

Interview format

• You’ll be meeting with a designer and a product representative.
• We’ll share a design brief and ask you to walk us through a solution. If you’re in person we prefer using a physical whiteboard, if you are remote we recommend using FigJam - (we’ll have a board ready to use) or if you are more comfortable in another tool just ensure you are ready to be able to screen share.
• We’ll begin by unpacking the problem, then move into wireframing and wrap up with a reflection on your solution.

Preparation

No need for extensive prep, but it may be helpful to think about how you typically approach design challenges and decision-making in a collaborative setting.
